After completing his visit of the barracks in the western region, Gurung reached Charikot in eastern part of the country. He stopped at Barda Bahadur Battalion for three hours.
According to sources, Gurung gave departmental directions to the officials of the battalion. Gurung made an aerial survey of the six kilometer road for Upper Tamakoshi Project. The army has recently completed the road construction.
He also visited Bhimeshwar Temple in Dolakha.
