KATHMANDU, Feb 7: Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajesh Ghimire of the Armed Police Force (APF) who suffered a heart attack while attending a Nepal–India border security meeting in Morang on Friday passed away.
SP Ghimire collapsed during the meeting and he was immediately rushed to Birat Medical Hospital, where he was administered CPR. However, he could not be revived and died during further treatment, according to the APF.

His body has been kept in the hospital’s emergency ward and his family members and relatives have been informed, the hospital said.
SP Ghimire had attended the meeting as a representative of the APF’s No. 3 Battalion, Gadhimai, Chitwan.
