Another ANFA player, injured in Dhading accident, dies

KATHMANDU, Aug 9: Sagar Pariyat, an All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) player who was critically injured in a bus accident in Dhading Tuesday, died during his treatment at a hospital in the capital on Thursday morning.

 

Rabindra Joshi, an executive member of ANFA, informed that Pariyar, who hails from Waling of Syangja, succumbed his injuries during the course of his treatment at Annapurna Neuro Hospital, Maitighar, this morning. [break]



Another ANFA player Ranjan Thapa had died on the spot. Likewise, two other ANFA players, Milan Hitang and Samrat Blon, who were also injured in the mishap are undergoing treatment in the capital.



Pariyar along with his friends were returning to the capital from Butwal that day after appearing for SLC supplementary exams when the bus plunged into the Maheskhola river at Simle in Dhading, killing 12 people on board.
