The injured policemen, Harka Bahadur Paal and Sher Bahadur Khadka were rushed to Nepalgunj for treatment, according to District Police Office of Achham. [break]
Crowd was irked after police freed one Tek Bahadur Shahi, arrested for beating Bhakta Bahadur Rawal. The locals went on to attack police after Rawal died while undergoing treatment.
The police however, said Shahi was freed after he assured to meet all treatment expenses of Rawal and the victim was still alive at the time of his release.
