Alaska general Garrett meets CoAS

KATHMANDU: Major General Michael Garrett, Commanding General of the US Army Alaska on Sunday met Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Gaurav Shamsher JB Rana at Nepal Army (NA) headquarters.



According to NA Directorate of Public Relations (DPR), the meeting focused on the mutual interests of both the armies. Garrett also met the Director General of Military Operations Pawan Bahadur Pandey, according to DPR. A five-member delegation led by Garret had arrived in Kathmandu on Saturday.



Commanding General Garrett is scheduled to visit military school and the central air base located at Nagarkot.
