ADB Nepal team visits KUKL branch office

KATHMANDU, April 8: Asian Development Bank (ADB) Nepal Resident Mission team visitedKUKL Mahankalchaur branch office and Jugdole Cluster Removal-1 on  Friday.

The team held meeting with the officials of KUKL Mahankalchaur branch office to understand the developments and challenges faced after switching the new pipe line with the existing old one for equal distribution of water and to reduce non-revenue wate quantity.The team also met with the local consumers to get a clear picture on the quality of the water and KUKL distribution management system.

The team led by Laxmi Sharma, senior project officer (infrastructure), included Vivivan Castrol Wooldrige, Urban Development Specialist and Sujan Regmi, project analyst, among others.

The objective of the mission was to review the overall project process, newly appointed project director Triesh Prashad Khatri said. He was very much optimistic on timely completion of the work.
