The tournament will be held from December 1 - 11 at TU Cricket Ground and Pulchowk Engineering Ground. Nepal is grouped along with Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Bhutan and Saudi Arabia in Group B. [break]
Group A consists of Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Oman, Kuwait and the Maldives.
The tournament is part of the qualifying process for the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 to be held in Sri Lanka.
The top three teams, other than Afghanistan, from this competition will join the top six Associate and Affiliate teams with ODI status from 2009-2012 namely Afghanistan, Canada, Ireland, Kenya, Netherlands and Scotland in the 16-team ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier to be played in the UAE in early 2012.
The other regional teams in the qualifiers will be Europe (2), Africa (2), Americas (2) and East Asia - Pacific (1).
According to the fixture released by ACC, Nepal will be playing all of its group matches at TU Ground.
