The robbers pounced on Som Bahadur BK, while he was returning home after closing his jewelry shop in Abukhaireni, and made off with the gold ornaments, the Area Police Office, Abukhaireni informed. [break]
Police have impounded the motorcycle (Na 13 Pa 3480) used in the robbery, police inspector Birendra Thapa said.
Three persons have been held from Chitwan and Gorkha districts in connection with the incident.
