67 SPs transferred

KATHMANDU, June 15: Home Ministry on Wednesday reshuffled the responsibilities of a total 67 Superintendent of Police (SPs) serving in various districts and offices within the police organization.



According to the decision made on Tuesday, SPs Bhog Bahadur Thapa and Narayan Singh Khadka have been transferred to Lalitpur District Police and Bhaktapur District Police, respectively, while keeping SP Kedar Rijal intact in the Kathmandu District Police Office. [break]



Likewise, Ramesh Kharel has been transferred to Parsa and Pradhyumna Karki to Morang districts. Incumbent Parsa District Chief Rajendra Man Shrestha and Morang District Police Chief Dipak Kumar Thapa have been transferred respectively to UN Department at Police Headquarters and Metropolitan Police Crime Division, Hanumandhoka.



The transfers were made as per the guidelines developed by Home Ministry and subsequently forwarded to police headquarters. The guidelines has set work performance as the main criterion for transfers.
