Special security measures have been taken to prevent crime along the section of the highway that passes through Charkose Jhadi considering the past records of robbery during the festival season there, said Senior Superintendent of Police Devendra Kumar Subba.
“We have also formed mobile teams to patrol along the highway for security of night buses,” said Subba. Subba also said the security persons will travel inside public vehicles to provide security along the 160-km stretch of highway. He also advised the passengers not to carry much cash and wear expensive jewelry while traveling.
