According to Spokesperson of the District Police Office Rabindra Poudel though they were scheduled to be taken on Tuesday night, the plan was altered due to security reasons.

Gurung has been taken to Birgunj alone as the police feared he might hatch a new plot with his allies if kept in the same jail, Poudel added.

A probe committee under Deputy Chief District Officer Attar Bahadur Silwal had recommended for transfer of the inmates.
