18 injured in Siraha bus mishap

LAHAN, Aug. 4: At least eighteen persons were injured in a road accident at Padariya in Siraha district on Thursday morning.



According to the District Traffic Police Office, of the 18 injured people, condition of two is critical.[break]



The incident took place when a bus (Na 4 Kha 4367) en route to Dharan from Kathmandu overturned on the road near Bajrang petrol pump after a loaded truck coming from opposite direction refused to give way.



The injured are undergoing treatment at the Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar and the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, according to police.
