150 households displaced as fresh landslide looms large in Parbat

PARBAT July 19: More than one hundred and fifty households of fishermen have been displaced after a landslide that occurred here at Maldhunga located at district headquarters, Kusma, on Sunday morning.Dwellers at Maldhunga have been shifted at safer locations due to fear of fresh landslides in the area as several cracks were developed in a cliff above the settlement.

The landslide has also obstructed Beni–Baglung road section. Police have also not been able to clear the debris from the road due to fear of fresh landslide.
