Youth scientist Marshal Roka of Ghorahi Municipality-11 in Dang district has developed the bio-fuel to drive a motorcycle by processing the resin of Sallo tree.
Organising a news conference on Sunday in Ghorahi, Roka demonstrated his success by driving the motorcycle with the bio-fuel prepared from the resin of Sallo tree.
He drove the motorcycle around the Ghorahi bazaar to demonstrate his achievement. The bio-fuel could be a substitute to the petroleum products though a lab test has not been held so far.
However, Roka has claimed that the bio-fuel is cheaper than petrol and has low fuel consumption rate.
So far, Roka has developed a total of 37 products including breathalyzer, metal detector, bomb disposal device and others. RSS
