RAUTAHAT, Sept 16: A woman has been found dead in Bariya VDC-5 in the district.
According to Area Police Office, Garuda, around 20-year-old woman was found lying on the bank of a cannel in Bariya VDC-5.

Bullet injuries on her chest indicates that an unidentified gang must have shot her dead . The identity of the woman is yet to be ascertained.
The body has been taken to Gaur Hospital for postmortem.
Police have launched an investigation into the case.
Meanwhile, an identified gang set fire to a ranger-post based at Jungleshaiya under Rautahat District Forest Office on Tuesday night. The fire has destroyed two motorcycles and related documents.
