GULARIYA (Bardiya), Sept 16: Two persons were killed in an elephant attack at Dalla area of Suryapatuwa – 4 on Thursday.
The wild elephant attacked Yuvraj Tharu of Patharwoji of Dhodari – 1 when he was returning home from school. He died undergoing treatment at Kohalpur Medical College, Nepalgunj last night.

Another elephant attack occurred when Paruwa Tharu, 72, of Dalla area left his shelter near a field where he was guarding the crops for the night and went to relieve himself nearby at 7 pm. He also died in course of treatment at Kohalpur Medical College last night.
Their bodies are being brought to Bardiya for post-mortem examination, Bardiya National Park Conservation Chief, Ramesh Thapa said. RSS
