What would you change about yourself?

KATHMANDU, Aug 15: With time, people change; and change is inevitable. People grow out of things, and their interests vary with time. But what habit, among other things, would you like to change at this very instant? We asked on our Facebook page the same question.

“I want to change my habit of polluting the environment and adopt cleaner ones. I would like to stop using CFC-producing motors, polyethylene, chemicals and a lot of other things,” said Kushal Paudel.

Deepesh Sigdel, on the other hand, said that he would like to change himself because he’s a funny man. “I would like to change myself and be a little more serious about things. Being funny, I guess, has hampered me a lot as I’m not taking my studies or any other matters seriously. I’ve become careless.”[break0

It’s definitely not easy changing your habits. Some of us make New Year’s resolutions and try and follow them. But for most of us, it just stays for a few hours and the next day we’re back to where we were before. But we would say that having the thought of changing yourself is an improvement in itself. However, some people don’t want to change at all because they are happy with what and who they are.

Rupak Raj Sunuwar shared, “I wouldn’t like to change anything about myself. I know that no one’s perfect but still I think I’m fine the way I’m. A perfect person doesn’t exist but with my attitude –or ego or arrogance or kinkiness or whatever – I would love to change the society and my surroundings and make it a better place.”

For Yogesh Shrestha, all he wants is to change himself and adopt the habit of being self-satisfied and leap forward for improvement. He believes that good has always been an enemy for being great.

Abhishek Jha also wants to change himself in lots of ways because he’s impatient and not satisfied with anything, and he compares himself with the situation of the country.

“I want to start taking things a little more seriously. I’m more like my country, and I’m not satisfied with anything,” he said.
