KATHMANDU, June 25: Vice President Parmananda Jha has claimed that the integrated draft of the new constitution will be completed within the extended three months’ timeframe.

Speaking at a program in Hetuda on Saturday, Jha said completion of the draft has been more likely now since the environment for consensus building among political parties has slowly been evolving in recent times.[break]

Opining that political parties are solely responsible for determining the country’s fate, Jha informed that the President and the Vice President would only play the role of guardians and asked parties to decide on the form of governance at the earliest.

Vice President Jha further said federalism is the key to the country’s development and added “Federalism will serve as the basis for building a new Nepal. So, we should go for it incorporating all.”
