He breathed his last at the age of 69 during the treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj.[break]
He was survived by his wife and three sons.
Jonchhe was former NC district president of Bhaktapur.
He was suffering from paralysis beneath his abdomen following bullet attack by Maoists on September 1, 2002.
