NAWALPARASI, July 2: A youth died after being hit by a vehicle in the Kharkatta area of Kawasoti Municipality-8 along the East-West Highway in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta Purba) last night.
According to the District Police Office, Til Bahadur Rana Magar, 23, of Hupsekot Rural Municipality-5 in the district, was killed in the incident.

Critically injured in the accident, Rana Magar was rushed to Madhya Bindu Provincial Hospital in Danda. He was later referred to a hospital in Chitwan, where he died during treatment this morning.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Yubraj Khadka said a search has been launched for the vehicle and its driver.
