Addressing the meeting, which was convened defying Chairman Jhalanath Khanal´s instruction, General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel directed the party cadres to be ready to retaliate against any possible attacks from rival political parties during the polls. [break]

“Khanal and Madhav Nepal have already been tested. Now we the party should declare Oli as our commander,” said YFN chief Mahesh Basnet.
Khanal had issued a circular to YFN not to carry out any activities against the party´s policy as rival factions with the organization had been running parallel activities.
The meeting also decided to seek clarification from the party´s office bearers Jhapat Rawal, Surya Dhakal and Dilu Pant for running parallel activities against the organization´s policy. The meeting decided to take action against them, if they failed to furnish convincing reply.
“Rawal, Dhakal and Pant have been found involved in financial irregularities, misuse of the organization´s letter pad, disclosure of confidential decisions through Face book and parallel activities,” said Basnet at a press conference in Itahari.
The meeting also decided to seek clarification from Raju Gurung, Naresh Shahi, Kranti Burlakoti, Hasta Shahi, Saroj Dilu BK, Manju Yadav and Ashok Chand.
