UML hunger strikers disappear from scene

BUTWAL, Feb 22: About two dozen CPN-UML activists who had started a fast-unto-death strike outside the general convention venue in Butwal on Saturday have disappeared on Sunday morning. They had started the strike demanding that the party pick its chairman and other office bearers through consensus and not through election. On Sunday evening, the party decided to hold election for electing its chairman and others.
