They said Bhandari deserves disciplinary action as she has been lobbying in favor of Nepali Congress-led government instead of creating an environment conducive to formation of a national consensus government.[break]
“Instead of lobbying in favor of forging national consensus, she has been advocating formation of NC-headed government. Therefore Bhandari´s public statement and interviews published in various newspapers are against the party´s policies and central committee decisions,” said a letter submitted to Amrit Bohara, chief of the party´s central disciplinary action commission.
Lalitpur district committee members Swoyambhuraj Dangol, Ram Singh Maharjan and Govinda Man Byanjankar are among the 40 members who demanded action against her.
“Bohara has asked all of us to come to the party office to check if all the signatures signed in the name of 40 members are genuine and talk to us in person," one of the members Sudarshan Mishra told Republica.
