“She will hold discussions with leading government and civil society personalities who are active in fighting the violence against women and girls and discrimination against minorities and excluded groups," according to a statement issued by the British Embassy on Sunday.
Keenly interested in women´s rights, particularly violence against women and girls, and the rights of minorities, Featherstone will meet Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal, Deputy Prime Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara, former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, Justice Kalyan Shrestha, Chief Secretary Madhav Ghimire and members of the Constituent Assembly during her stay in Kathmandu.
