The protesters attacked the youths as they were returning from bordering Indian market with diesel for their tractors.Agitating Madhesi cadres torched the two motorbikes belonging to the local youths from Badahara VDC in the district, informed SP Nal Prasad Upadhyay at District Police Office (DPO), Nawalparasi.
One Nure Alam has been critically injured in protesters' attack. He has been undergoing treatment at Bhairahawa Medical College while the remaining three injured are receiving treatment at the Prithvi Chandra Hospital.
According to the DPO, Nawalparasi, the protesters seized the diesel from the youths and torched the motircycles and fled the scene. Police said they are working to arrest the arsonists.
