Two YAN cadres held for vandalism

ITAHARI, Aug 8: Police have arrested two Youth Association Nepal (YAN) cadres for vandalizing a government vehicle on Wednesday



Dipendra Thapa and Arun Gurung were arrested for vandalizing a vehicle (BA 1 Jha 8989) belonging to the district development committee of Sunsari this morning for defying the chakkajam called the YAN. [break]



Following the arrest, YAN cadres have shut down the Itahari Bazaar demanding the release of the arrestees.



YAN had enforced four-hour nationwide chakkajam on Tuesday and a three-hour chakkajam today in the morning demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai.
