Two killed in road mishap

NEPALGUNJ, March 6: Two persons died on the spot in a road accident at Mahadevpuri VDC in Banke district along the East-West highway on Wednesdy morning.

Identity of the deceased has not been ascertained yet, according to the District Police Office.[break]

The accident took place when a bus (Na 4 Kha 2551) heading towards Nepalgunj from Kathmandu and a tractor (Se 1 Ta 3622) coming from opposite direction collided with each other.

Around six people were injured in the accident, said police.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Kohalpur-based Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital.
