GULMI, May 18: Two people have died in a road accident that took place on the Rudrabeni-Purtighat road section under the Kaligandaki Corridor on Sunday night.
The deceased have been identified as the motorcycle rider Laxman Thapa, 34, a resident of Bhustung, Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-3, Syangja; and Girman Singh Rana, 45, of the same locality, according to Ganga Bahadur Saru, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Gulmi.
When will it end?
The accident took place at around 10:00 pm on Sunday when a motorcycle (Lu. 36 Pa. 3627) heading towards Chemi from Rudrabeni in Satyawati Rural Municipality-1, Thulabagar Chaldi, fell about three meters off the road. Both succumbed to their injuries at the Primary Health Center, Ridi.
The bodies have been taken to Gulmi Hospital, Tamghas, for an autopsy this morning, according to the police.
