Two houses looted

SINDHUPALCHOWK, Nov 24: A group of robbers looted two houses in Fulpingdanda VDC-9, Talkot and made away with valuables and cash worth five lakhs on Friday night.



The gang of around 10 masked looters barged into the house of Gopilal Giri and Raju Giri and looted eight tolas of gold, six mobile phones and Rs 2500 from the two houses, according to Police Inspector Bishnu Lamichhane. [break]



Dambar Kumari Giri, 60, of Kadambas, who had come to Gopilal´s house as a guest, was hurt in the ear lobes after the looters forcefully snatched the ear rings she was wearing. The looters also robbed all the gold jewelries Dambar Kumari was wearing.



The locals have started night time patrolling in the village after the incident. Inspector Lamichhane said that search is under way to arrest the looters.
