According to police, Sataru Chaudhary, 52, of Halwar VDC-6, died on Sunday night. Sataru had fallen ill for the past two days. The identity of the girl child who died due to cold is yet to be ascertained.
All hospitals in Dang are jam-packed with patients following increasing drop in temperature. An average of 50 patients get admitted every day at Rapti Sub-Regional Hospital, Ghorahi. Cold has adversely affected life in freed Kamaiyas camps, too.
Meanwhile, a person died Monday morning under mysterious circumstances in Dang.
Kebal DC, 23, of Tharmare VDC of Salyan, fell ill all of a sudden at a hotel in Tulsipur. He was taken to hospital following frothing in the mouth. But doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have detained three of Kebal´s friends for interrogation.
