Two children killed after being hit by Indian-registered car in Tanahun

The children were returning home from school when the car hit them on Friday afternoon. They sustained serious injuries and died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chitwan this morning.

TANAHUN, June 27: Two children died after being hit by a car at Markichok of Aanbukhaireni Rural Municipality-2 along the Prithvi Highway in Tanahun.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dwarika Prasad Ghimire of the District Police Office, Tanahun, six-year-old Sayana Thapa and five-year-old Uliyam Thapa, both residents of Aanbukhaireni-2, died after being hit by a car registered in India.


The children were returning home from school when the car hit them on Friday afternoon. They sustained serious injuries and died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chitwan this morning.
