Those killed have been identified as 45-year-old Dhan Bahadur Thapa and 25-year-old Amrit Dahal, according to Lekhnath Puri, chief of District Traffic Police. The two were hit by the truck (Na 2 Kha 5734) heading from Katari to Lahan at 9:30 p.m.
Locals obstructed the road from early Tuesday morning demanding compensation for the victim´s family. Traffic movement resumed after an agreement was reached between the truck owner and the police at 1 p.m.
