KATHMANDU, Jan 17: NextYatra.com - an online travel planner - has started offering attractive abroad holiday packages on easy installments. To start with, the company has launched two packages - ´Wow Guangzhou´ and ´China Facets´.



´Wow Guangzhou´ is a six-day package priced Rs 66,666 per person. The package covers airfare on Kathmandu-Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Kathmandu route, accommodation in three-start hotels, breakfast and lunch.[break]



A shopping voucher of Rs 4,444 is also included in the package.



Similarly, the ´China Facets´ is a 10-day package to Guangzhou, Beijing and Shanghai. The package priced Rs 99,999 per person includes airfare, accommodation in three-star hotels and breakfast and launch. It also includes a shopping voucher of Rs 5,555. It also includes visa fee and local transportation charges.



Travelers willing to buy these packages can get travel loans up to Rs 300,000 from Siddhartha Bank Ltd. “Depending on income, people can get up to Rs 300,000 as loan. The loan can be repaid in easy installments of 12 to 18 months,” said A R Tandukar, managing director of Gorkha Travels - one of the partner agents of NextYatra.com and the sole agent of China Southern Airlines in Nepal.



He further informed that they were targeting people with monthly salary of Rs 20,000-Rs 30,000 for the packages. “We won´t change any interest for 12 months. For the next six months, we will change nominal interest rate,” Tandukar added.



Tandukar told Republica that they would launch more packages by March. NextYatra.com is preparing to offer attractive packages to Malaysia, Singapore, Bangkok, the Maldives and other Chinese cities. We are also offering European package within a year, said Tandukar.



“The response that we are receiving is very good. After adding new destinations, we are hopeful of getting good number of travelers,” said Tandukar. He also informed that travelers can get loans from Siddhartha Bank Ltd after producing documents prepared by Gorkha Travels. Tandukar said one needs to provide source of income to get the document.



“Travel loans can be taken from all branches of Siddhartha Bank Ltd. We will make the facility throughout the country within a year,” he added.
