Police rescued Sunita Khattri and brought her Bhaktapur on June 9 from Meghalaya, shared Bikash Shrestha, Superintendent of Police (SP) at Bhaktapur Metropolitan Police.
The 21-year old was working at an Offset Press at Byasi in Bhaktapur district. Her colleague, Suman Tamang, took her fancy and promised her to marry her after courting with her, added SP Shrestha.
The investigation has unveiled that the gullible girl believed her 17-year-old beau and followed him to India on June 1 to settle down there as per her beau's plan.
But with the help of some Nepali origin people in Meghalaya, she was saved by police from landing in flesh trade. RSS
