Rukmini Goswami, 70, of Inaruwa-5 died when a minibus of registration number Ko 1 Kha 2145 hit her while crossing the road. According to the Eastern Regional Traffic Police Office, she died on the spot.
Similarly, Narayan Rai, 65, also succumbed to injuries he sustained when a Maruti van with registration plate Ko 1 Ja 1223 hit him at Itahari-Dharan section.
Rai died while receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, body of Amrit Shrestha, 36, who disappeared in the Saptakoshi river four days ago, has been found.
According to RSS, a person fell from the roof of a moving bus and died in Chandibhanjyang of Chitwan Thursday evening.
The dead has been identified as Buddhi Raj Gurung of Dadakhani-6 in the district.
Gurung was traveling on the roof of the bus (Ga 1 Kha 597) and heading for Narayangud from Gorkha, police said, adding that he died on way to hospital.
Police have taken the bus driver and helper under control.
