TRIBENI, March 28: Three people have died and 15 others were injured in a road accident along the East-West Highway in Daunne, Bardaghat Municipality-4, Nawalparasi (West), late last night.
According to police, at around 12:40 AM, a truck (Na 7 Kha 9398) traveling west from the east collided with a bus (Lu 2 Kha 2351) and a pickup (Na 5 Cha 2275) moving in the same direction. Following the crash, the bus and truck fell off the road, while the pickup ended up on the roadside.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Tirth Raj Paudel said the deceased include Gobin Budha, approximately 25, from Bagmara, Rolpa, another male aged around 25–26, and a third male who was trapped inside the bus. The names of two of the victims are yet to be confirmed.
Of the 15 injured, 13 have been sent to Lumbini City Hospital in Butwal for further treatment, while two are receiving care at Chisapani Hospital.
