Superintendent of Police (SP) Ram Prasad Shrestha said District Police Office, Mahottari has arranged armed security personnel for UCPN (Maoist) candidate Bharat Prasad Sah and Nepali Congress candidate Sita Ram Bhandari, who are contesting from constituency number 6. Madhesi People´s Right Forum-Nepal (MPRF-N) candidate for constituency number 2 Hari Narayan Yadav has also been provided with security. “We have deployed an armed head constable for each of them,” said Shrestha. He, however, pointed out that it was impossible to provide security staff to all the 260 candidates who will fight elections from the six constituencies of the district.
