Supriya crowned Teen Miss World 2012

KATHMANDU, Oct 10: Little Miss World Nepal 2012, Supriya Maskey, was crowned Teen Miss World 2012 in the 12th edition of the Little Miss World pageant held in Antalya, Turkey, on October 7. While Sofia Kutsenko from the Ukraine clinched the title of Little Miss World 2012.



With excitement and encouragement, Supriya Maskey returned home on Sunday afternoon. [break]



To welcome the winner, students and teachers of Little Angels School and the representatives of Nepalese Council organized a welcome program at the Tribhuvan International Airport itself.

During the talent round, Supriya performed in a Nepali song, ‘Lali Guras Ajambari Champa Chameli’, and mesmerized the audience.



“She always gives her full attention to her work at hand and this helped her win the international title,” claimed Deependra Ratna Shakya, National Director of Little Miss World Fashion Center.



Supriya bagged 500 Euros along and the crown for herself along with other prizes at the pageant. This is the third international achievement for the Nepalese Council.
