A meeting of nine student unions on Friday evening decided to call off banda citing that banda coincided with Bachelors first year exam and BP Jayanti, UP Lamichanne, central committee member of Nepal Student Union, said. [break]
The agitating students had called banda demanding that the government roll back the recent hike in petroleum products.
