Sphinx currently deals with outfit of various designs for people of all age groups. Most of its collections, which include casual to party wear, are imported from Thailand, Hong Kong and China. [break]
Sphinx has two outlets at City Center Mall. One is dedicated to apparels and accessories for both men and women, while the other deals exclusively with ladies undergarments.
“Within a month, we will open a third store at the same mall exclusively for men,” Laxman Shrestha, one of the proprietors of the showroom, said. This store will have men´s formal wear, casual wear as well as inner wear.
One of the attractions of Sphinx is the lingerie section. Lingerie prices range from Rs 50 to Rs 5,000.
The store also has a cosmetics section where products such as lip-gloss, lipstick, body mist, perfume, shower gel, body lotion and shampoo are available. For those with more sophisticated taste, Sphinx also offers cosmetics from Victoria´s Secret directly imported from USA and Dubai. Products of Victoria´s Secret range between Rs 1,190 and Rs 2,490.
Other items like ladies bag costs somewhere between Rs 650 and Rs 6,000, while ladies sandals bear price tags ranging from Rs 490 to Rs 8,000.
“We have tried to include every possible item that comes under the realm of fashion. We have also tried to cater to the needs of people from all income groups,” said Shrestha.
To entertain regular customers, Sphinx offers privilege cards that are valid for two years. These cards, which can be obtained after paying Rs 100, entitle patrons to a discount of up to 25 percent on purchase of ladies and gents apparels and accessories, and a discount of 10 percent on purchase of innerwear.
