Gyandip Limbu, proprietor of Jay Ganesh Traders and Suppliers, said he opened showroom of Sonalika tractors in Dharan as the demand for tractors has increased in Sunsari district. He said the showroom, which is located in Gangalal Marga in Dharan-8, has been opened with investment of more than 2.3 million.[break]
The showroom will also sell genuine spare parts and provides repair and maintenance facility as well. It currently has seven different models of Sonalika tractors ranging from Rs 700,000 to Rs 1.6 million.
“This is the first showroom of Sonalika tractors in Dharan. We are targeting to sell 31 tractors within a year,” said Limbu. “As Dharan is the center for people of both Tarai and hilly regions, we are confident of meeting the target.”
Tractors are used for agricultural works in Tarai. In hilly region, they are used as means of transportation.
To celebrating opening of the showroom, Jay Ganesh Traders and Suppliers provided free cloth for tractor´s hood, watch and T-shirts for those who came to repair the tractor on Tuesday.
Likewise, the company has announced up to Rs 170,000 discount on new purchase for two weeks.
