Siraha traders enforce market shut down

SIRAHA, March 19: Accusing the police administration of failing to free the abducted trader Bijaya sah, the businessmen of the area have obstructed the East-West Highway and enforced shut down of all the shops of the area on Monday.



The traders had given 24 hour ultimatum to the police administration to search Sah but the police are clueless about the abduction as of now.[break]



The strike enforcers have been rallying on the roads and chanting slogans against the police administration.



Sah was kidnapped on Saturday night from Golbazaar by an armed group while he was on his way back home.



"My husband had no animosity towards anyone," said Victims wife Asha Devi.



According to the reports in the past two months, two including Sah have been abducted from Golbazaar, two from Michaiya and five persons have been kidnapped from Siraha.
