NEW DELHI, June 11: The Delhi Police on Thursday arrested Bollywood singer Mika Singh after questioning him at Inderpuri Police Station in an assault case.
The singer was taken into custody for slapping a doctor during one of his concerts here in April.

Shrikant, an ophthalmologist posted at Ambedkar Hospital, had suffered some internal injury inside his left ear due to the assault.
Mika has been arrested on bailable offence, reports further suggest.
The police had registered a case of causing hurt and wrongful restraint against the 38-year-old Punjabi singer at Inderpuri police station following the incident.
Mika Singh had later defended himself, saying he slapped the man because the latter was drunk and did not listen to him.
The singer said the incident took place because of a rude gesture by Shrikant, after the singer had asked him to not to stand among the women.
Talking about his side of the story, Shrikant had told the news channel: "Mika was asking me to move to the other side in a very insulting way... He ordered his bouncers to get me on the stage and there he said, 'Why didn't you listen to me?'... And Mika slapped me on the stage".
The incident took place on on April 12 at a concert organised by the Delhi Ophthalmological Society (DOS) as a part of their three-day conference being held at the Delhi Pusa Institute Mela Ground in Inderpuri.
