Rana elected NBA president

KATHMANDU, Feb 3: Ashok Samsher Rana, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Himalayan Bank Ltd has been elected president of Nepal Bankers Association (NBA).

In an election of NBA held on Thursday, Rana secured 21 votes where as his nearest rival Sashin Joshi- CEO of NIC Bank got 11 votes. [break]

Kamal Gyawali - the third contestant for the coveted post and CEO of Kist Bank, had announced his support to Joshi in the election.
