Rally organized to mark Traffic Week

KATHMANDU, Nov 22: A rally was organized on Thursday to mark the Seventh Metropolitan Police Day and the Traffic Week.



The rally started from the Shanti Batika and concluded at the same venue after making a round of Bhotahity, Asan, Indrachowk, Juddha Salik, Naya Sadak and Bir Hospital. The rally was organized by Nepal Police with support from different social organizations.[break]



Inspector General of Police, Kuber Singh Rana, inaugurated the rally which was accompanied by various tableaus, musical band, mounted police and vehicles. The participants of the rally held banners and placards with various slogans for raising public awareness on traffic rules and road safety written on them.
