NAWALPARASI, Jan 28: Butwal-Narayanghat road section has been obstructed for traffic today.
Vehicular movement along the road section has been disrupted due to slippery roads at Daunne section of Binayi Tribeni rural municipality-2 along East-West Highway following the rainfall.
Heavy rain obstructs Jaleshwor-Janakpur road
One-way traffic is in operation after the vehicles were trapped on the road near Gheukhola and Bishwokarma temple in Daunne following muddy and slippery road, said Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East), Yubaraj Khadka.
"There is a long queue of vehicles after vehicular movement has been obstructed due to muddy and slippery roads since the rainfall this morning. A problem has surfaced in movement of vehicles heading towards west from east after a truck has been stuck due to a muddy road," he said.
According to Narayanghat-Butwal Road Project, efforts are underway to resume traffic on the road section.
