Railway service obstructed

JANAKPURDHAM, July 20: The Janakpur-Jayanagar railway service has been closed for an indefinite period.



Nepal Railway Office here said the service has been halted due to technical problems with the engine and the coaches.



A train coming towards Janakpur from Jayanagar has broken down at Mahinathpur and the engine of the train going from Janakpur to Jayanagar has developed a technical glitch, forcing the railway office to close its services.



The Janakpur-Jayanagar railway service is the primary means of transport for the people of 50 VDCs in Dhanusha district.
