Protest rally demanding ministers' resignation

KATHMANDU, Oct. 15: All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) organized a protest rally on Saturday calling for the resignation of Defence Minister Sharat Singh Bhandari and Minister for Land Reforms and Management Prabhu Saha.



The participants of the rally chanted slogans calling for taking action against the defence minister who made anti-national remarks and Minister Saha who has a hand in a murder case.[break]



The protest rally that set out from the Shankardev Campus passed through Putalisadak and Bagbazaar and turned into a corner meet upon reaching Ratna Park.



ANNFSU president Madhav Dhungel, addressing the corner meeting, demanded immediate dismissal of the two ministers from the government.
