The gang abducted Satya Narayan Jha, headmaster of Dwarika Shreelal Satani Higher Secondary School at Bathanaha VDC, on Tuesday.
Jha was abducted while he was returning to Rajbiraj from the school. He was taken under control by armed persons from near a bridge at Ekbarpur Tole in Bhagawatpur VDC.
Police have confirmed Jha´s abduction and said a search is underway.
