KATHMANDU, April 4: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced a power outage in several areas of Kathmandu today.
According to an NEA notice, electricity supply will be disrupted in locations served by the Imadol feeder under the Baneshwor Distribution Center to allow for the replacement of old and deteriorating poles.

The outage will affect areas including Narephat, the vicinity of CCERC College, and Suryakot Marg, where 11 kV poles are being replaced. Power supply is expected to remain suspended from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The NEA has apologized for any inconvenience caused by the outage.
